Modern Penthouse Suite in historic downtown Blue Ridge - Suite 101

Positive: Very comfortable, spacious accomodation, located right in the center of town. You can walk to restaurants and shops and are very close to the Blue Ridge Railway Station. So nice to stay in a room with a seating area and kitchenette. Negative: Had a little bit of difficulty figuring out the remote operated window shades. When you activate it moves all the shades at once, so some would go up when the others went down. We ended up compromising on all half closed. We were going to be up early anyway.

Will definitely stay there again. Beautiful town Positive: The location was perfect. The suite was very comfortable. It had everything you needed even a small refrigerator with a freezer. It was also very clean and a comfortable bed. We had trouble finding the parking space and called Nathan and he stayed on the phone with us giving directions step by step. Truly a GREAT STAY!!! Would stay here again and again!! Positive: LOCATION, LOVATION, LOCATION…. And the room was very, very comfortable!!! Walk easily thru Downtown and, of course, ttt hit Tr at. Is directly behind the Penthouse!! We LOVED our stay!!! However, m wife, Rather recently, broke a vibe in her foot and wears a tall “BOOT!” (Better than a Cast!) there are 12-13 steps from parking up the the street as d 13 more stairs to the room!! But she did it!! But limited mobility may fund it difficult…. No elevator. But location, you can not beat it! Service by NATHAN FITTS is exceptional… thank you Nathan!! Negative: Nothing not to like…. There are “automated” blinds that go up and down… I never figured them out? Front window shades would go up and the side window shades would go down… so perhaps I bc fictions to put BOTH UP, or BOTH DOWN… would be convenient! We will be back!!!

Property was clean and nicely decorated in great location. Overall enjoyed it but property management needs improvement. Our visit started out good with host responding to a request very quickly…appreciated that. Communication with host after that was less than satisfactory…delayed or no response. Problems with remote window shades which created both privacy and sleep issues. Property description indicated on-site laundry, though both washer and dryer were full with the same towels and sheets from the time we arrived until we left two days later. Housekeeping issues? Overall property management could be improved.

It was what o expected. He did a great job with furnishings. Positive: Location. It was very clean and everything we needed was available. Negative: Stairs no elevator.
