Luxury penthouse suite in historic downtown Blue Ridge - Suite 102

Won’t do this again ! Positive: It was keyless Negative: I got 10+ messages (check booking.com messages) with check in info that was not Applicable to our stay! Basically giving us a door code to someone else’s room. Creepy. Then we get to our room and it had not been cleaned at 3.30pm, creepy again! THEN… owner told us to leave our stuff in the to, he was coming to clean it himself. We left our stuff and a VERY WELL LABELED pizza in the room (for our dinner), just to come back at 6:30 and find our pizza thrown away. Contact owner again and received condensing responses repeatedly- as in are you effing kidding me lol? I didn’t know what else to do with the pizza that came with us at 3.30. I just can’t over the arrogance - would never recommend

We will be back for sure Positive: Very central location and we were lucky to get last spot in their reserved parking lot which was beautiful Negative: Nothing perfect downtown location - close to train - close to Main Street - perfect for dining and people watching and super quiet at night

The environment was wonderful. But it does require going up many steps. Positive: Location Negative: Having to go up so many steps

I would say the good outweighs the bad. The things we didn't like could be easily fixed. Positive: The location was perfect! Close to everything. The cozy suite was very clean with an abundance of lighting options. It was helpful having light switches labeled. Loved the huge shower and the automated window shades. It was nice and quiet. Negative: We were assigned to and given the code to suite 101. What a surprise to open the door and find a cat and other occupants' luggage. After immediately calling the number provided, we were told that our suite was actually 102. After a long day of walking, we were looking forward to relaxing in the evening. The chairs were not very comfortable so we chose to watch TV from the bed where we both ended up in the middle due to the aging mattress. I suggest replacing the chairs and the mattress.

Positive: The room was very nice, the location was excellent, and everything was very clean. Negative: The one improvement I would consider is more comfortable chairs for the living area.
